Today we talk to Chocolate City Burlesque and Cabaret  Co Founder and Producer, Entrepreneur, and Burlesque performer Che Monique, about her mission to preserve and diffuse the art and history of Black Burlesque, Cabaret, Sideshow and Variety as well as create safe and accessible spaces for Black performers and audiences.

Che and I have a great time as she shares her experiences as a performer as well as an artist and she was able to manage to bring both of those world together.

Che Monique is a Show Producer, Entrepreneur, and Burlesque performer. She also co founded the Chocolate City Burlesque and Cabaret in MLK Library Room A5, 901 G St. NW, Washington, DC, USA.  Which vision is to provide spirited stewardship to the burlesque and variety community as a whole and to broadly support black performance. Che Monique also owns Che Butter which sells all natural and handmade moisturizer.
